THIS is with reference to the letter ‘PSO dividend’ (Dec 4). We thank Mr Magoon for his interest in the processes of the company and compliances thereof. However, we would like to clarify that as per SRO 920(I)/2008 dated Sept 3, 2008, the dividend is to be paid within 30 days of its declaration.
The dividends are declared and approved at the annual general meeting. The AGM of the PSO was held on Oct 21 and the dividend was disbursed subsequent on the completion of the due process before the stipulated time period.
