Ways to widen your vocabulary

This is regarding the cover article “Ways to widen your vocabulary” by Kamal Ahmed Qureshi (YW, November 19). It was a nice article but the writer missed out a very important thing in his article, that is how to make out meanings for difficult words in our mind and also exercises to boost memory.

Articles like this are very helpful in a student’s life so YW should publish more articles like this one.

Art corner

This is with reference to the section “Art corner.” The section is wonderful because it encourages children towards arts. YW provides the best opportunity to children to show their talent to the world.

Website review

I have been reading YW since many years and I like the website reviews by Asif Ali. The reviews provide knowledge about various sites in a unique manner and it becomes easy for us to go through them later on.

Friendship bracelet

This is regarding the Wonder crafts section “Friendship bracelet” by Asif Ali (YW, November 12). It was a cute DIY bracelet and also seemed easy to make. I would definitely try it at home.

Thread bracelets look beautiful and go with most dresses but they are expensive to buy so I request the writer to give more DIYs on various bracelets making methods.

Young World

I am a regular reader of YW, and have always found it very interesting, full of knowledge for the current generation. I specifically like the articles that appear in ‘Advice’ column.

However, it would be nice if there’d be a separate column for short stories, which would not only be improving writing skills but also give kids an opportunity to express their creativity.

Cook-it-yourself

This is with reference to the column “Cook-it-yourself” by Aamnah Arshad. The section provides easy recipes that we can prepare pretty quickly and easily on our own. And the good thing is, all the recipes turn out to be mouth-watering, tasty and delightful.

It is amazing how easily we can make such delicious recipes with just a few ingredients easily available in our kitchen. I would recommend to others to try these delicious recipes because these recipes are always beyond our expectations.
