PESHAWAR: Activists of minority communities on Saturday held a demonstration against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for issuing threatening statements against Pakistan.
The protest demonstration was held under the aegis of Pakistan Minorities Alliance (PMA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter, where the participants were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-India slogans.
Representatives of the minority groups, including Suleman Javed, Yasir Bhatti and Junaid Kokhar, were leading the protesters.
On the occasion, they showed solidarity with Kashmiris and vowed that they were ready for any sacrifice for the integrity of Pakistan against the India military, saying that innocent people of India Held Kashmir were constantly targeted.
“Pakistan is our country and we will resist any foreign force that tries to weaken our beloved homeland,” they said. However, the minority representatives demanded of the government to give more space for minority students in medical and engineering colleges and ensure jobs for members of the minority communities under a specified quota.
