REFERENCE your news report ‘Expatriate Pakistanis struggle as Saudi construction firm holds back wages’ (Sept 1).

It’s time the government looked into the matter and came to the rescue of our Pakistani workers and extended all material, moral and legal help.

The Philippines and India have sent special missions to Saudi Arabia to look after their workers. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should use his good offices to lessen the plight of the Pakistani expats.
