KARACHI: Three young men were found shot dead at different places along the Lyari River, police said on Saturday.
According to Gulbahar SHO Saleemullah Qureshi, two bodies were found near the Lyari River in Lasbella.
Aged between 25 and 30 years, the victims were brothers and identified as Kashif and Ashiq, residents of Karachi’s Pak Colony.
The police said they were alleged gangsters and apprehended that they might have been killed by their accomplices or a rival gang.
The SHO said the two brothers might have been killed somewhere else and their bodies were dumped in Lasbella.
The body of the third victim wrapped in a blanket was found on Akbar Road in Shershah area, according to the police.
Shershah SHO Ghulam Rasool Rajpar believed that he had been gunned down somewhere else and his body was later dumped on the roadside.
The victim sustained a single gunshot wound in the head, the police said.
The victim who appeared to be Baloch was not identified till filing of this report.
