Professionalism,rigorous training and soft skills are few of the most important aspects that need to be instilled while training police personnel.They need to learn a lot from Pakistan Army.Political interference in selection process has to be curbed if we want professional police force.

@M.Jamal
If you nothing productive or good to say then don't say anything. Comments full of speculation, negativity, hearsay add nothing to the situation and create more problems.

First of all, it points to a lack of discipline, and this problem stems directly from lack of training.

Is there any criteria for acceptance in police force in pak? I don't think so. Police who is supposed to protect the masses is the most corrupt institute full of incompetent people who couldn't get into any other profession

This is due to continious mental pressure and frustration. Police in Pakistan do not have proper system of duty hours and relief. There are no adminisrative arrangements for food and rest. Hence corrupt practices. The officers are the worst offenders as they have done nothing about it.
