Axact case

Published August 29, 2016

INTERIOR Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan ordered an inquiry against Axact in May last year, just after New York Times published a report, accusing the company of selling fake degrees and diploma online through hundreds of fictitious schools, making “tens of millions of dollars annually.

The FIA acted swiftly on the interior minister’s orders: no complaint is on record.

The law should be same for every citizen. The question is: why did the interior minister not order an inquiry into documented news, ‘Panama leaks’, involving billions of dollars’ worth of money laundering’, published the world over?
