KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police A.D. Khowaja has proposed setting up a ‘core group’ comprising officials of police and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee to meet law and order challenges effectively.

A CPLC spokesperson on Sunday quoted the IGP as saying during a visit to the CPLC Central Reporting Cell at Governor House that the proposed core group would work to find out areas where collaboration and cooperation could be enhanced between police and CPLC, develop strategies to combat crimes to provide a better place to live and work for the masses.
