Man, woman killed in name of ‘honour’

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A man and a woman were shot dead in Nasirabad on Wednesday.

Police said that a man identified as Fateh Khan opened fire on his wife, Ganj Bibi and her alleged paramour, Abdul Waheed, in Goth Nasir Khan Khosa “in the name of honour”.

A police officer said the deceased were shot multiple times and died on the spot. He confirmed that this was a case of honour killing. The bodies were taken to a hospital for the autopsy and handed over to the family afterwards. No arrests have been made as yet.Meanwhile, an unidentified armed person killed a man and injured another in Chatter in district Nasirabad.
