KARACHI: Police on Friday claimed to have seized weapons and ammunition disinterred from a place near a Rangers headquarters and Islamia College.

They seized one light machine gun, one repeater, one G-3 rifle, one pistol and a large number of bullets, said acting SP of Jamshed Town Hasan Sardar Niazi.

He added that acting on a tip-off, the police recovered the weapons and ammunitions buried just opposite the college. No one was arrested, police said.
