Pakistan-India relations are in a crisis again — skirmishes on the working boundry and the cancellation of talks. Narendra Modi not only managed the Gujarat mass massacre of Muslims as its chief minister, he is also a diehard Hindu nationalist, so is his team of diplomats.
On the other hand, we in Pakistan have not been able to find one individual out of 200 million to head the foreign office. We have advisers and God knows what? We lack direction in foreign relations.
To use cricket jargon, we have no pace man, no spinner, no one behind the stumps and not even an opening batsman.
Can’t we find even one capable human within 200m to head the foreign office? If it is so, then why regret or crib? Let Modi be the winner.
