LAHORE: Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram will supervise Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) training camp for upcoming talented bowlers at the National Stadium in Karachi from Aug 1 to 13.

The national selection committee, headed by Haroon Rasheed, has announced names of following promising fast bowlers to attend the camp.

Moreover, trials for selection of talented fast bowlers are currently being held at five venues. Those get selected will join the above-mentioned players in the camp.

Young fast bowlers selected from the remote areas for LG–Super Speed Stars will be announced after completion of the first phase.

Selected bowlers: Mir Hamza (Karachi), Ahmed Jamal (Abbottabad), Majid Ali (Multan), Taj Wali (Peshawar), Ammad Butt (Sialkot), Amir Yamin (Multan), Azizullah (Peshawar), Mohammad Irfan (Wapda/Sialkot), Sameen Gul (Fata), M. Altaf Khan (Peshawar), Bilalwal (Lahore) and Zia-ul-Haq (Lahore).
