Zahid stars in Dr Shah Trophy

KARACHI: Zahid Mansoor produced a superb all-round show as Raivo Mobile beat Mohammad Hussain Cricket Club by seven wickets in Dollar East Dr M.A. Shah Night Trophy at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here on Thursday night.

Zahid captured three wickets for 13 runs with his off-spin and slammed an unbeaten 44 to guide his team to a commanding victory.

Batting first, Mohammad Hussain CC made 131-6 in 20 overs. Ali Sarfraz top-scored with 40.

Rivo Mobile, in reply, reached the target for the loss of three wickets in 17.2 overs. Zahid Mansoor hammered an unbeaten 44 in 35 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes, and Ayaz Tasawar hit six fours in his 36 not out.
