All you X-Files junkies, you might not have known this. The star of the TV show David Duchovny wanted actress Jennifer Beals (whom he knew from his Yale days) to play the part of agent Dana Scully in The X-Files. Somehow things didn’t work out and the role fell in the lap of Gillian Anderson. This was revealed last week by Jennifer B herself on a talk show. However, she admitted that “Gillian was much better suited for the part”. You betcha!
