KARACHI: The Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) will play host to a week-long Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sports Administration course for men and women at a local hotel from Monday.

Sindh Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, Laiq Ahmed, will formally inaugurate the course which is taking place in the city after a long time.

The SOA has approved a list of 29 officials, including three women, who will attend the course.

The opening day sessions include lectures on introduction and purpose of the course, Olympic movement, introduction, history and development, government and sports/sports structure in Pakistan and sports for all.

The course concludes on May 31.
