Fire injures five

LAHORE: Five people were injured in two fire incidents in the city on Friday.

Three people, including two minors, suffered burn injuries when a fire erupted in a house near Lal Bridge. Rescuers extinguished the fire and shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital.

The injured were identified as Sana, 10, Adeel, 14, and Asghar, 23.

In another incident, two youth were injured in a shop fire in Gulshan-i-Ravi.

Rescue firefighting vehicles extinguished the fire and shifted the injured to hospital where their condition was out of danger.

Usman, 20, and Umer, 16, of Nonarian, tried to extinguish the fire and received minor burns.
