ISLAMABAD: The top hierarchy of Pakistan Peoples Party sent on Wednesday a show-cause notice to its leader and former Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza for ‘violation of party rules’.

A source in PPP said the notice had been issued after Ms Mirza held a press conference in defence of her husband Dr Zulfiqar Mirza who for several months has been making fiery statements against PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
