After a bad quality teaser was leaked online, director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. decided to release the official first teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The trailer begins with a narrator’s voice asking, “Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?”

What we can gather from the trailer is that we can start to now guess why the two heroes are fighting. People seem to have lost their faith and trust in Superman, played by Henry Cavill.

Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor voices his take on the Man of Steel: "The devils don't come from hell beneath us; no, they come from the sky."

And it seems Batman, who is portrayed by Ben Affleck, is ready to take a stand.

He asks Superman, "Tell me, do you bleed?"

Before he can answer, Batman adds: "You will."

The movie also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Holly Hunter (heard in this trailer), as well as Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel.

The film is written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for March 25 release next year in 2016.
