SHEIKHUPURA: Two persons were allegedly burnt alive while two others sustained injuries on Friday when a fire erupted at an illegal fuel station near Jhamke on Sargodha Road.

Naveed and Shamsul Qamar died at the scene while Ishaq and Pervaiz were taken to hospital.

Local residents protested at the incident and held the district administration responsible for the deaths. They said they had asked the administration to take action against the illegal fuel station but in vain.

INJURED: A 20-year-old youth was injured in an acid attack on Friday in Qila Sattar Shah.

Factory Area police said Akmal and Azam threw acid on Arshad Shahzad in a ground adjacent to a factory. Police said the factory management had warned Arshad not to play in the park.

Factory Area police started investigation.
