SIALKOT: The tortured body of a three-year-old girl, who had been abducted two days back from outside her house in Nizamabad, was found in Shah Malook Road, Pasrur, on Sunday.

Reports said that some unidentified men had abducted trader’s daughter. Some local people spotted the brutally tortured body of the girl at a deserted place.

Later, the victim’s family staged a demonstration by placing the slain girl’s body on the road.

The protesting family demanded of the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister to ensure the early arrest of murderers.

DPO Dr Shehzad Asif Khan said that police teams were raiding to arrest the killers.

INJURED: A labourer was injured seriously when a gas cylinder exploded in his house in Sabzkot village in Pasrur on Sunday.

Police said Zahid Hussain, 42, was alone in his house when the incident occurred. He was shifted to a hospital in a critical condition.

INAUGURATED: MNA Zahid Hamid and MPA Chaudhry Munawar Ali Gill jointly inaugurated the Rescue 1122 service in Pasrur on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, MNA Zahid Hamid said the government was making all-out efforts to raise the living standard and ensure basic facilities for the local people.

Sialkot DCO Nadeem Sarwar, Rescue 1122 District Emergency Officer Syed Kamal Abid, Pasrur Assistant Commissioner Tauqeer Ilyas Cheema, local PML-N leaders Ali Zahid Hamid and Khwaja Saeed Ahmed Butt were also present.
