UMERKOT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that PML-N workers have suffered a great deal from their leaders’ reconciliation policy towards PPP.

The veteran politician told journalists during his visit to Umerkot and Mirpurkhas on Sunday that on the pattern of the ongoing targeted operation against criminals in Karachi which had proved beneficial for peace of the metropolis the federal government should launch an operation against corruption across the province.

He said at a reception given in his honour by party workers at Umerkot that he had joined the PML-N under an agreement which the party failed to fulfill after coming to power but he would continue to support the Nawaz government for the sake of rights of Sindh.

He said he would never compromise on Sindh’s rights, “if it hurts the PML-N, they have right to oust me from their party,” he said.

MIRPURKHAS: Mr Bhutto told journalists during a stopover here before leaving for Umerkot that PML-N workers had suffered a great deal from their leaders’ reconciliation policy towards the PPP.

The Sindh rulers were busy plundering the resources of the province in connivance with bureaucracy, he said, adding that under a secret deal, Sindh had been handed over to Mr Zardari.
