KARACHI: A woman and her young daughter were stabbed to death at their home in Saeedabad on Wednesday, police said.
They added that the bodies of Zafran Bibi, 45, and her daughter, Memona, 26, with injuries were found at their home.
The killing appeared to be the result of some family dispute, said Saeedabad SHO Rafaqat Ali. Another police officer said the girl wanted to marry someone and had won the support of her mother, but male members of the family were allegedly opposing the proposal.
