Razmina Sultan shines as throwball course ends

KARACHI: The national throwball umpiring and coaching course 2015 ended here on Saturday at the Pakistan Sports Board offices with as many as 115 students, teachers, umpires and coaches participating in it.

Razmina Sultan from Agha Khan School, who got the first position in the course, has been selected to represent the country in the upcoming International Throwball Men & Women Championship 2015, to be held at Malaysia in July. Darkhshan, Mama secured the second position while Ibrar Hussain stood third.

Meanwhile, fifteen officials were also selected from the course who will be representing Pakistan in the 6th Asain Throwball Men & Women Championship 2015 in December. Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF) will be organizing the championships.

President PTF Captain (R) Muhammad Tahir Naveed was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and appreciated the participants and distributed the trophy, shields and certificates among the participants.
