Two found murdered

ISLAMABAD: A man and woman were murdered in the limits of Noon police station on Wednesday.

A resident of Jhangi Syedan informed the police that he heard gunshots from a house and when he came out, he saw two persons running away. When the police arrived at the house, they found bodies of a 40 years old man and a woman who appeared to be in their 30s.

A police official said according to the identity card recovered from the man’s pocket, he was a resident of Faisalabad.

“However relation of the woman with the deceased could not be confirmed. The bodies were shifted to Pims,” he said.

The official said according to residents, the man was living on rent for the last few months.
