HYDERABAD: The Karachi-bound Fareed Express met with an accident when one of its bogies slipped off the track at the Hyderabad station on Saturday afternoon, a statement issued by the Pakistan Railways said.

It said the train coming from Lahore remained stuck at a yard at the station for about half an hour during which the bogie was put back on track. No one was injured and no remarkable damage was caused in the accident, it added.

Hyderabad station master Shamsuddin Solangi said that the bogie derailed accidentally and the PR technical staff managed to put it back on track within 30 minutes.
