KARACHI: Spinner Sharjeel Razzaq grabbed a five-wicket haul to help Azeempura Gymkhana beat Pak Mughal CC by two wickets in their KCCA President Cup fixture at the Pak Star Ground here on Friday.

Slow let-armer Sharjeel claimed 5-34 as Pak Mughal CC were restricted to 198-9. Lal Kumar then hit six boundaries and two sixes in making 71 while guiding his side in the 41st over.

In the two matches, Nazir Hussain Gymkhana Zone-I defeated Pak Crescent CC by 47 runs at the Asifabad Sports Ground and Malir Sports sealed a seven-wicket win over Mohammad Hussain Colts at the KCCA Stadium with spinner Mohammad Naveed taking five for 40.

Meanwhile, Saeed Mutabir bludgeoned 169 from only 123 balls with the aid of 26 boundaries and one as Northern Gymkhana annihilated Saleem Sports by a huge margin of 316 runs at the KCCA Stadium on Thursday.
