Two polio cases reported

ISLAMABAD: Two new polio cases have been confirmed by the Polio Virology Laboratory at the National Institute of Health.

With fresh cases, the number of children hit by the crippling disease in the current year has reached 291.

A health department official said that new cases had been reported from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“The child who has been reported from Sindh is 13 months old and a resident of Ratakot in Larkana. The other patient belongs to Kohat in KP,” he said.
