LAHORE: Punjab Police Inspector General Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has transferred and posted 19 senior police officers, including a senior superintendent of police (SSP) and two superintendents of police (SP).

According to a handout issued on Wednesday, SSP Imtiaz Ahmad Malik, awaiting posting, has been transferred and posted as Sahiwal Counter-Terrorism Department SSP regional officer. SP Khalil Ahmad, awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as Rajanpur SP (investigation), SP Ijaz Ahmad Nangiana, awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as Sheikhupura Region Special Branch SP.

The inspector general also issued transfer orders for 16 sub-divisional police officers and deputy superintendents of police (DSP).

He also promoted seven inspectors as DSPs and posted them in different areas of Punjab.
