KARACHI: Two young brothers were shot dead and the third one was wounded in an attack in Pak Colony on Tuesday evening, police said.

They added that the victims were sitting at a ‘Dabu club’ in Jehanabad when armed pillion riders opened indiscriminate fire on them and rode away.

The three brothers suffered bullet wounds and were taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where doctors declared Imran Raza Mohammed, 25, and Kamran Raza Mohammed, 22. Adnan, 20, was admitted for treatment.

While the victims were not employed with any law enforcement agencies, they were reportedly associated with Rangers and had served at a picket in the area in the recent past, said SSP-West Azfar Mahesar.

He said that it appeared that they were targeted by criminals belonging to the Uzair Baloch gang for their association with the Rangers.
