LONDON: Former football player David Beckham is keen to have another child but his wife Victoria is concerned about the risks involved with her age, the IANS reported.

The 40-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer is worried that her age could affect their chances of pregnancy and might even lead to complications.

"She worries about the risks with her age but David is very keen," The Sun newspaper said quoting a source close to the Beckham family.

In a previous interview with heart.co.uk, David had said that he loves the number seven and would happily welcome another baby into the family to reach his 'lucky number'.

"If we are lucky enough to have another one, it would be great," the 39-year-old had said.

"We always spoke about having a big family. We love children. We are very blessed to have four healthy children, so if one comes along that would be amazing," David said and added: "What can I say? I love the number seven."

The couple, along with their four children, Brooklyn (15), Romeo (11), Cruz (nine) and Harper (three), plan to spend Christmas at the residence of renowned chef Gordan Ramsey.
