KARACHI: Three prestigious cups — The Fantastic Face Stakes, The Quaid-i-Azam Trial Cup and The Colts and Fillies Trial Cup — features prominently in a eight-race card of the Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The Fantastic Face Stakes which is the fifth race on card, has nine acceptors and will be run over five-and-a-half furlongs.

Four horses look set to vie for honours in the next race, The Quaid-i-Azam Trial Cup, to be gone over 10 furlongs.

A small field of four horses will contest in The Colts and Fillies Trial Cup in the seventh race to be contested over seven furlongs.

Altogether, 62 acceptors will prove their mettle during the days pro-gramme.

The first race starts at 12.30pm.
