KARACHI: At least one person was killed and four others including a young girl and a woman injured in an explosion near Korangi Crossing in Karachi on Tuesday night, DawnNews reported.
Initial reports suggest that the explosion took place in an auto-rickshaw.
However, a police official claimed that the explosives were planted in a motorcycle and Rapid Response Unit of the police was the target of the suspected attack.
"The police van was passing by the rickshaw when the explosion took place," said the official.
“Officials of Rapid Response Unit have remained safe in the attack,” he added.

Hope it wasn't a targeted killing, if it was the victims - once they make full recovery Inshallah should be questioned in detail. The police must view any and all street security cams to uncover who could be behind this cowardly act.
