Lawless police

Published November 25, 2014

‘When all the traffic is coming your way from the opposite direction, it means you are moving in the wrong lane’, goes the saying.

Coming out of Lahore Gymkhana Golf Club every morning I find policemen riding two wheelers and police mobiles moving in the wrong direction to reach Qurban (Police) Lines via short-cut, forcing me to think that it is I who is moving in the wrong lane.

Why do the custodians of law flout traffic rules themselves?
