Wearing the national dresses of countries from all over the world, the students and staff of Westminster School and College put together an event that brought together the flavours of the world.

The annual international food festival of the school proved to be a major attraction thronged by parents, students and other residents of the capital.

Food, culture and music from across the world were enjoyed by visitors, with thirty stalls representing the culture of one country each were put up. “Because of the larger space this year, stalls are better arranged,” said Ms Izzah, a parent attending the festival.

Active participation of foreign missions in Islamabad was helpful in bringing true flavours to the festival. Mr Ahmad, whose son was part of the team who had put up the Italian food stall said, “It’s always good to try food from different countries. This year I particularly liked Thai and Mexican food.”
