LAHORE: A Cantt Court in Lahore on Thursday ordered a two-week judicial remand for Hussain Khar — son of former Punjab governor Mustafa Khar.

Police personnel from the Crime Investigation Department (CID) produced Hussain in the Cantt court today, following which the court's Additional Magistrate directed the authorities to send him on a 14-day judicial remand.

The court remarked that the identification parade of the accused should be carried out quickly.

Earlier on October 12, Hussain Khar was arrested by the CIA defence police in Lahore on robbery charges.

Media outlets had earlier reported that Mr Hussain had been kidnapped from near his residence.
