MULTAN: In a surprise and pleasant move, newly-elected MNA from NA-149 Malik Amir Dogar called on veteran politician Javed Hashmi here on Tuesday at latter’s residence in the Cantonment area.
Hashmi lost the recent NA-149 by-poll to Dogar.
Talking to the media, Dogar said his visit was continuity of his family’s relationship with Hashmi.
“My father had been in jail with Hashmi and we have a lot of respect for him,” he said.
He said he was inspired by the services of Hashmi for the sake of democracy.
Hashmi said he would extend his cooperation to Dogar for the betterment of the city.

Hashmi also changes political parties at the drop of a hat.

PTI supported Dogar just to show the public opinion. Neither PTI is interested in his inclusion to party nor he is interested. He is disgraced politician without any good repute in the area. Don't worry my PTI fellows.

@Khurram Nisar! You are right. PTI and Dogar are not gonna be at same platform. PTI supported Dogar to see their support in area. But there is one thing PTI fellow should be worried about... they have to take the Dogar in because that is what support means. If PTI is not gonna take him then people will lose trust in PTI. May be Multan started to chant "Dhoke baz PTI"

Now this is what I call the real political spirit. First, Hashmi having the guts to accept defeat and now Dogar calling on Hashmi. And Hashmi offering his cooperation to Dogar for the betterment of Multan city. If only rest of our politicians follow suit.

That should be the way to go. When you are contesting, you behave like enemies. When you come to power, you work like brothers.

@Khuram Nisar so they are ready to sacrifice their principle for their own fame. ??? What makes them different than the others?????? All Show and Drama for their own benefit and not for the country or any thing that the common man thinks will change. We are used and abused once again

Nice to see flexible approach in hostile Pakistani politics.
Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should also give a surprise visit IK at container. I am confident that IK would stop PTI supporters to chant #Go Nawaz Go.

@Khuram Nisar
Grapes are sour!
Amir Dogar has sensed the direction of wind it is blowing. IK is getting nowhere from the conatiner, and Dogar is not interested in container politics.
