KARACHI: The pair of Saleem and Raheel won the men’s doubles title in the Young Stars Inter-firms table tennis tournament at the Sindh Sports Board sports complex on Thursday.

The victorious duo from the KMC gets the better of Momin and Suleman of the PPL straight 11-8, 11-6, 11-5 in the final.

Meanwhile, the men’s team event has reached the final where the KMC is slated to meet Habib Metro Bank. The KMC whipped SBP A 3-0 while Habib Metro Bank disposed of PPL 3-1 in the two semi-finals.

The quartet of A. H. Bhatti, Asim Hussain, Raheel Qureshi and Ahmed Pesnani fought their way into the men’s singles semi-finals.

The event concludes on Friday.
