Punjab in politics

Published September 17, 2014

Imran, Qadri and the Sharif family have divided Pakistan’s volatile, oppressive and aggressive society.

Previously, I had no experience of the Punjab factor in our politics. I often read about it in books. But after the PML-N’s one-year rule, I have begun to understand the Punjab factor and its effects on Pakistan’s politics. May God have mercy on us Pakistanis.

We are time and again reminded by our political parties about the supremacy of the law and Constitution.

Had the Constitution been implemented in letter and in spirit, 99pc of these leaders would have just vanished from our provincial and national assemblies!
