Khuhro-Mazhar row

Published September 17, 2014

APROPOS Metro South (Sept 13), it was heartening to note that finally Sindh has got an education minister, Nisar Khuhro, who sincerely wants to improve the standard of education in the province.

At the same time, it was sad to note that his predecessor, Pir Mazharul Haq, was defending the fake recruitment of

13,000 teachers against a vacancy of only 1,425 on political grounds (read corruption).

Kudos to Khuhro and shame on Pir Mazharul Haq!
