KARACHI: At least three police personnel were injured on Wednesday in a cracker blast on Karachi's Shahrah-i-Faisal.

The attack targeted a police check-post located under the Nursery bridge leading to the complete collapse of one of its walls.

Rescue teams rushed to the site of the incident and shifted the injured policemen to a nearby hospital.

A contingent of police personnel reached attack site and cordoned off the area. It was not clear who was behind the attack.

Today's incident comes a day after two policemen were killed when unknown assailants opened fire at them in the city's Malir Town.
