LARKANA: About 200 stones each measuring 0.2mm were removed from the gallbladder of a woman in a surgery conducted at the a private clinic here on Monday.

Dr Azra Ubaid Buledi said after performing the surgery that the patient, Basheeran Panhwar, wife of Sikandar Panhwar, a resident of Badah town, was convalescent.

She said the patient was brought to her clinic with complaint of severe pain and an ultrasound scan showed an unusually large number of stones in the gallbladder.
