Team returns

KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team returned quietly here on Sunday from Colombo after their disastrous Sri Lanka tour losing both Test and ODI series.

Misbah-ul-Haq’s Pakistan suffered 2-0 humiliation in the Test series after being well-placed in both Tests while lost the ODI series 1-2 after winning the first match. Pakistan were disappointingly bowled out for paltry 102 in third One-day International in Dambulla.

Karachi players who arrived here include Shahid Afridi, Sharjeel Khan, Fawad Alam, Anwar Ali and manager and chief selector Moin Khan.

Remaining players left by connecting flights for their respective destination while Sohaib Maqsood after an overnight stopover will fly to Multan on Monday.

The team were received by National Stadium senior manager Arshad Khan and other staff members.
