Proving the claim

Imran Khan wants to become prime minister. As leader of the country’s third biggest political party, he can strive to fulfil his desire but he will have to defeat the two bigger political parties.

He cannot attain his ambition by making accusitions that the PML-N won through rigging and the chief election commissioner abetted them, as rigging an entire election is not child’s play.

The PTI chairman must not jeopardise democracy for the sake of a few constituencies. Since Mr Khan began his political life, he has been talking about making a new Pakistan.

Can he answer whether he has made a new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his party has formed government?

Can he tell us how many bakeries and small hotels have been sealed due to lack of hygiene and for using poor quality ingredients in preparing meals over the last 14 months in KP? And what about the state of cleanliness, checking adulteration, artificial price hike, corruption in the police service and overall governance?

Yes, Nawaz Sharif has not been very successful in matters dealt by his administration. He should also take measures to be more democratic, keeping the ground realities in mind and keeping the welfare of 190 million people at the top of his government’s agenda. Please note that 98pc people of the country are still struggling hard for bread, water, clothes, education and peace.
