KARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has projected to increase the number of automated teller machines (ATMs) up to 1,000 by 2015, from the existing 375.
The bank in a press release issued on Friday said that around 7.5 million transactions were executed during last three months through its ATM network “with success ratio of around 95 per cent”.
The bank’s card-base had also increased to 1.4 million from 0.3m in 2010. The downtime was declining gradually and the number of transactions was continuously increasing, the release added.
