Women police station set up in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH: A women police station has been established in Nawabshah city in the building of Darul-Aman on Dhamrah Road.

Speaking to journalists on Thursday, the SSP of Shaheed Benazirabad, retired Captain Pervez Ahmed Chandio, said that the police station would deal with cases related to women and children.

He said that Sub-Inspector Mariam was appointed the station house officer with two women assistant sub-inspectors, five head constables and 45 constables, all women. He added that a mobile van had also been provided to the station.
