Woman gunned down

CHAKWAL: A woman was gunned down by unknown assailants in Latifal village, police said on Wednesday.

Nawab Khan told Neelah police that two men knocked the gate of his home. When his wife went to open it, they opened fire on her.

She was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Chakwal but died on the way. Police have started efforts to trace the killers after registering a case.
