Firing by Indian BSF kills Pakistani in Shakargarh sector

NAROWAL: Firing by India's Border Security Force (BSF) across the working boundary killed a Pakistani citizen in Shakargarh sector on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

Pakistani forces also resorted to retaliatory firing.

The deceased was shifted to a nearby hospital.

This is the third incident of exchange of gunfire across the Indian and Pakistani working boundary.

One BSF person was killed and three other were wounded on Jul 16 on the Indian side of the border during a clash between the two sides.

In another incident on June 20, a Pakistani civilian was killed and three others were wounded during an exchange of fire across the working border between India and Pakistan border near Silakot's Charwah and Mirajkey sectors
