A ramp needed

Published July 23, 2014

I AM a beneficiary of the Behbood Savings Certificates (a part of the National Savings). The North Nazimabad Centre, Karachi, in particular, receives a lot of geriatrics (wheel-chair bound) pensioners. The apparent absence of a ramp on the entrance has led to routine inconveniences. I personally informed the ex-manager of the branch about it, yet no action has been taken.

There is ample space for a ramp. From the road to the entrance inside area the place will be accessible to wheelchair pensioners.

I fail to understand why it was not done while these centres were being constructed.
