Model Town vandalism: Gullu Butt moves court for bail

LAHORE: Gullu Butt, the baton-wielding man seen damaging vehicles in Lahore, filed a bail petition in a local court on Saturday, DawnNews reported.
The petition was filed in Judicial Magistrate Imran Ishaq's court.

The petition submitted by Advocate Wahid Hussain presented the stance that the case registered against Butt was a false one thus he should be released on bail.
The court summoned a record from the police on July 10.
Butt, also known as Sher-i-Lahore, came into the limelight after he was caught on cameras brazenly damaging several vehicles in the presence of police, during the clash between Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers and police in Lahore's Model Town on June 17.

OH really...so all those pictures are fake and Gullu is innocent so let him out and he will be sent out of pakistan untill his case is closed.....or another Ghunda will be back on the streets to run his gang of Lions and terrorize people , instead of Bail he shoiuls be tried in Anti terrorism courts with NO Bail.......

He should be severely punished for his crime shown live on all TV channels, There should not be any court hearing rather on the basis of the live TV broadcast of his criminal activities he should be punished immediately at least for 10 years with parole & made to pay the repairing charges of all the vehicles he damaged.

Most reputable attorneys would not take this case but if some one has to take this case for whatever reason, this is exactly how he/she would start a case. Nothing unusual about it. I have been part of a Jury in USA several times.

Let the court decide. And remember his lawyer has to plead for his client. There is nothing criminal about this.

if judge bail him out, then shame on him too as actions committed by mr gullu doesn't need evidence.infact the court or judge should not prolong this case as usual, every one knows and every one can testify so would be better put charges right away and send him to jail
