I VISITED the Nadra Awami Markaz and was surprised to see that a staff member was simultaneously looking after two counters, one for CNIC and the other for NICOP. The same situation is witnessed at the Information Counter where a staff member was looking after it. However, she/he was also engaged in card delivery.

Needless to mention here that the Nadra Awami Markaz is the most important and convenient option for the citizens of Karachi as a large crowd is seen here at all times.

Nadra collects huge revenues from applicants for CNIC, NICOP, etc. However, Nadra seems to be working with a shortage of staff, not realising that it wastes a lot of precious time and energy of its customers who have to stand in queues for hours together.
